![]() ![]() ![]() This is where there can be some variation, I add it to materials and labor that I have nested in my takeoff item so I don't include the Manual Subtract formula at the takeoff level. I'll try to explain this in a way to help because it is extremely easy once you know how to do it.ġ) go to the templates tab and create a duplicate of the takeoff item/assembly you're going to edit (in case you screw up and can't fix it)Ģ) open the properties of the takeoff item/assembly and go to the advanced tabģ) in the top left of the advanced tab you will see a little but when you hover your mouse cursor over it the tool tip should say "add property" - Click itĤ) Name your property "manual subtract" (no quotation marks just the words) make sure it is a number type (the field directly below name)ĥ) Click ok - You have now created a new property I'm not sure how to go about adding an item in properties to make this work but thanks, I'll do some looking around to see if I can figure it out. ![]()
